Class A Driver – Local Routes

Location: Plattsburgh, NY
Pay: $28.00 – $32.00 per hour (based on experience)

Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Class A Driver to handle local routes for a structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication company. This position offers consistent, local work—no long-haul travel—allowing you to be home daily while contributing to a growing and stable operation.

Responsibilities:

• Safely transport steel materials on local routes
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and ensure DOT compliance
• Secure loads properly and follow all safety procedures
• Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record (required)
• Previous truck driving experience (required)
• Mechanical aptitude or heavy equipment experience (preferred)
• Ability to meet DOT physical requirements
